Many of the rooms smelled like fish and pee. After 4 plus hours of dealing with this problem we finally got rooms on a higher floor with less carpet.

View from my room was amazing.

There were barely any chairs to lounge on in the lobby. Also, the lobby is on the 19th floor, which means you have to take a different elevator to get to your rooms.

The best thing is their kindness to guests. They are always focusing on their guests with great smile. staffs are making everythings better. And the breakfast was so good. every menu was under careful control, so they had the best condition at all times.

The connecting rooms were very convenient and comfortable.. the location was the best part of the whole trip! The staff are amazing they go above and beyond to help!

Booking.com service regarding my rate discrepancy was unfortunately terrible. They kept sending me directly to the hotel, despite the fact that Booking.com promised me a lower rate in my booking. All reasons/arguments provided pertained to city tax. However, it was the base fare that was higher. Booking.com is also very difficult to contact and keeps making this very difficult to resolve. I find this unfair.

Location was key since it was right across from Hakata Station. Also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops.

The concierge staff also helped us plan our day by giving great suggestions for local sightseeing.Modern hotel with great staff and great location. We had a great time as a family.A good hotel makes the holiday better! That's what this hotel did for us in Osaka.

Information on booking.com wasn't very clear regarding the breakfast for accompanying kids not included. It was there but buried somewhere in the long booking confirmation page. We were traveling with a child and chose the room option accordingly. The booking said breakfast included. I was a bit surprised while checking in when the reception staff informed me that the kid's breakfast will have to be paid every day. Thankfully, the hotel were nice about it and gave us a 20% discount. I reckon this must have happened before with other travellers who booked via booking.com Maybe we should read the fine print carefully before travelling so that there are no expectations mismatches.

It’s a maze to find the hotel entrance which is couped up on 19 th floor Feels a bit suffocating

I loved the convenient location to and from Itami airport and option to use the airport bus from a bus stop a few minutes walk from the hotel. I loved that the hotel was right at the Tennoji train station, and we were able to catch our train to and from locations in Wakayama prefecture very easily and then just walk to / from the hotel. The view from the room was a spectacular city view and our room was very comfortable - including the bed, bedding, pillows, shower, and amenities. I wanted to leave an item of value at the hotel before going on a multi-day hiking trek (Kumano Kodo) and the manager had given permission to leave it in a safe box for me. I didn't end up leaving it but it was excellent that I had the option and that the staff was so accommodating. We loved the tremendous and delicious breakfast buffet and views from the restaurant and the discount voucher for guests at the hotel.

Our accommodation was a high floor with a breath taking view room. Restaurant on top floor and breakfast both exceeded our expectations. The bedding in our room was very comfortable. In all, a perfect stay for our 40th anniversary.

I wish they had a pool. Besides that everything else was exceptional.

Smooth check-in. Very polite and respectful staff from porters to front desk staff. View from room was magnificent. We got to the hotel before official check-in time and wanted a place to relax. The concierge gave our family complimentary tickets to the observation deck while we waited. We ordered room service the first night there, and the food was excellent (steak and salad).

While the common areas (lounge, lobby, elevator entry area) were impressive, grand, and luxurious, the rooms were a few notches lower. Firstly, there was a "dank" moist scent in the room ... like a moldy smell. The carpet appeared worn and faded both in appearance and plushness underfoot. Third, the bathroom had multiple areas on which the white grout had areas of mold growth (black areas). The bathroom was very organized, well equipped, and neat when we checked-in but upon using the facilities we started noticing these black areas on the different walls. We realized that many people have used these rooms, but if I were to compare the many Vegas hotels we've been to, ie. Bellagio, Venetian, Four Seasons, etc., none of these hotels ever had moldy grout in their bathrooms despite the volumes of guests that have been through their rooms. Also, when we arrived by Shinkansen to Osaka station, the entry of the hotel was very close. But Google map was not able to direct us to the entry elevators, and we walked around the large subway station and mall for a long time before stumbling across a sign. The employees around the 1st floor did not know where to direct us. So perhaps a few more large Marriott signs would be helpful.
